Webtraining’s owner –Renton Currie is pleased to announce that the webtraining site has been made available to Tasmanian schools participating in the Australian Enterprise Week
Australian Enterprise Week is a Commonwealth Funded Program where schools across Australia undertake an intense week of group business planning activities to simulate real company activities. At the end of the time, classes have to present their findings as well as make a 30 second commercial.
Renton’s company jumped at the chance to be part of the program as it was natural way to make available the wealth of knowledge within the site that would in a practical way, help children learn about the business world.
Results of the competition will be posted here at the end of December.
This is our first podcast that explains what we are trying to accomplish with Webtraining.com.au.

What is a Podcast?
A podcast is an audio file that you download from the Internet and use on your computer or mp3 player (like an iPod). The big difference is that you can use “podcatching” software to subscribe to a website’s podcast feed so you don’t have to check for new episodes. The podcatcher checks the website’s feed regularly and downloads the newest episode when it is available. This means that you get the new shows without thinking about it. Some podcatchers will automatically transfer the new show to your mp3 player (if connected to you computer), ready for you to use in the car or whereever.
Podcatching Software
There are quite a few podcast clients out there, many which are free. Here is a list of recommended ones.
How To Subscribe using a Podcatcher
